Jessica, Salon Director and Educator at Waves Salon, has dedicated 25 years in the industry. Her career is deeply rooted in a profound passion for hairstyling and a commitment to mentoring the next generation of hairstylists. She gained invaluable experience during her 12-year tenure at Toni & Guy and further advanced her skills through advanced courses with industry experts like Jen Atkin, Harry Josh, Laura Chihaia, and Heather Chapman. Jessica’s teaching style is engaging and inspiring, focusing on unlocking the full potential of aspiring hairstylists through hands-on workshops, advanced courses, and professional development. As Salon Director, she oversees all facets of Waves Salon, ensuring memorable customer experiences and staying at the forefront of industry trends.

Orianna Sese-Allende

Meet Oriana, our devoted Customer Service Specialist who’s been with Waves since the beginning. Her love for hair inspired her to pursue cosmetology school, and she’s set to graduate in February 2024. When not at work, she cherishes quality time with her niece and indulges in the occasional power nap!

Megan Haenisch

Megan has had a passion for hair since the age of 14 and now has 20 year experience behind the chair. She has spent the majority of her career in the city of Chicago and has traveled to New York, Florida, Atlanta, Arizona and even London to further her education. After relocating to Houston with her family in 2020, she now specializes in lived in color and Invisible Bead Extensions in her own private luxe suite as The Golden Mane.

Meet Macey, an experienced hairstylist with a passion for making her clients look and feel their best. Specializing in modern color, handtied extensions, and bridal makeup/hair – Lizet has a passion for creating looks behind the chair and making people feel their most confident! Kalista Richard

Kalista, a seasoned expert with over two decades of experience in premium dimensional color and precision hair cutting, is known for her exceptional service. Her warm and personable nature fosters unique client connections. Beyond hairstyling, she’s a dedicated wife and mother who actively participates in community volunteer work and local charitable causes. Off-duty, she enjoys Harley rides, brunches, lady’s nights, and being a loyal friend. Kalista enhances natural beauty and crafts memorable chic looks, making every client’s vision a reality. Jody Grantham

Jody is a highly experienced professional in the hair industry, boasting 25 years of expertise since graduating from Scott Cole Academy in Phoenix, Arizona. His mastery extends to advanced color techniques with Goldwell and Sebastian, and he holds certification as a Brazilian Blowout educator. Jody is also known for his specialization in tape-in hair extensions.

Jessica Pierce

Jessica, a color specialist with 14 years of experience in color and cutting, is proficient in various color systems. She finds joy in applying her knowledge to manifest her clients’ envisioned looks. Originally from California with training at the Aveda Institute in San Francisco, she infuses a blend of Cali and Texas vibes into her work. So remember, roots are for trees!

Gillian Ellis

Hey I’m Gillian! I’m a 2018 graduate from the Aveda Institute. My goal as a hairstylist is to provide the best service possible to achieve your desired look, while also preserving the integrity of your hair. Leonard Jomsky, a distinguished graduate of the University of Southern California with a BA in English and a Business Minor (’92), has carved a remarkable path in both the corporate world and the beauty industry. His journey is a testament to dedication, entrepreneurial spirit, and an unwavering commitment to success.

Leonard’s professional odyssey began in the field of sales, where he honed his business acumen and passion for excellence. In 2004, he founded Jet Stream Funding, a thriving mortgage company that demonstrated his innate ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.

Not content to rest on his laurels, Leonard ventured further into the realm of business leadership. In 2010, he launched Power Plus Systems, Inc., where his strategic vision and leadership skills propelled the company to new heights. His efforts were duly recognized in 2018 when Ametek acquired Powervar, Inc., and Leonard transitioned into the role of national account manager.

However, Leonard’s entrepreneurial spirit extended beyond the corporate world. In 2014, he played a pivotal role in the launch of Seychelles Med and Laser Spa, where he masterfully handled all financial and accounting aspects. Under his guidance, Seychelles Med and Laser Spa experienced substantial growth, solidifying its reputation as a trusted name in the beauty and wellness industry.

In 2018, a significant milestone was reached when Leonard and his wife, Lychelle, made the bold decision to purchase the building housing Seychelles. Over the course of the next two years, they embarked on an extensive remodeling project, transforming the space into the vibrant and welcoming Seychelle Med and Laser Spa, Inc and Waves Salon LLC. This transformation reflects Leonard’s commitment to creating an environment where clients can experience the highest level of care and expertise in the beauty industry.
